Who We Are
The Turkish Small Animal Veterinary Association (TSAVA) is a professional non-governmental organisation that brings together veterinarians working in companion animal health, particularly in the fields of feline and canine medicine.
Our Association works to support the scientific and professional development of veterinarians, strengthen knowledge-sharing and solidarity among colleagues, and uphold the reputation of the veterinary profession.
Through national and international congresses, symposia, scientific meetings and continuing education programmes, we contribute to the translation of current scientific knowledge into clinical practice. We also collaborate with relevant institutions and other professional organisations on matters concerning our profession, advocating for veterinarians’ rights, professional ethics and good clinical practice.
We connect our work at the national level with the international veterinary community and place great importance on sharing scientific advances and global professional expertise with our colleagues in Türkiye.
We believe that animal health and welfare are inseparable from public and environmental health. Guided by scientific and ethical principles, independence and solidarity, we remain committed to advancing our work.
