The A Drop of Blood Symposium, organised through the collaboration of TSAVA and VetTalks, brought together approximately 400 veterinary professionals in Antalya to explore the accurate interpretation of blood data and the diagnostic process from a holistic perspective.
The three-day scientific programme addressed clinical haematology, peripheral blood smears, clinical biochemistry, current parameters such as NLR and PLR, critical patient management, oncological haematology and case-based decision-making. Hands-on workshops at the symposium helped participants translate theoretical knowledge into clinical practice.
The programme featured contributions from Duygu Dalğın, İdil Baştan, Kerem Ural, Lora Koenhemsi, Mehmet Erman Or, Mehmet Fatih Bozkurt, Mehmet Maden, Seçkin Serdar Arun, Ümit Özcan and Zeynep Nurselin Kot, maintaining a dynamic pace throughout all three days.
